It sounds like Dak Prescott’s recovery is going very well.
The Dallas Cowboys starting quarterback destroyed his ankle last season, and hasn’t played a snap of football in a game since. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

However, it looks like Prescott should be ready to roll by the start of week one. Head coach Mike McCarthy said Tuesday afternoon that Prescott is “on track or maybe a little ahead of schedule” when it comes to rehabbing his ankle.
“He’s here almost every day. I’d say he’s right on track or maybe a little ahead of schedule.”
Coach McCarthy is impressed with Dak’s recovery progress.

Seeing as how the Cowboys poured a ton of money into Prescott’s new contract, they better hope like hell he’s ready to roll.
If not, the team is going to be in serious trouble.
Cowboys are giving Dak Prescott a four-year, $160 million deal, including a record $126 million guaranteed, source tells ESPN.
The first three years average $42 million per year.

The good news for fans of the Cowboys is that the footage we’ve seen of Prescott working out has looked very solid.
While it’ll be impossible to know for sure until he’s going up against a live defense in a game, he certainly appeared to look good in a recent training video.

For the time being, it looks like Cowboys fans can rest easy because Dak should be just fine.
