The Big 10 generated the most revenue in college sports last year.
According to Steve Berkowitz, the B1G generated $768.9 million during the 2020 fiscal year, which was obviously hampered by the coronavirus pandemic. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)
The SEC was second at $728.9 million. After that, there was a gigantic gap between the top two spots and the rest of the country.
Conference revenue for FY20:
Big Ten: $768.9 million
SEC: $728.9 million
Pac-12: $533.8 million
ACC: $496.7 million
Big 12: $409.2 million https://t.co/zapptosyRe— Steve Berkowitz (@ByBerkowitz) May 20, 2021

The conference literally runs from Nebraska to the Atlantic Ocean. When you cover such a large area, it’s going to result in making a ton of money from TV and other places.
Fans in the SEC might hate hearing it, but it doesn’t make the situation any less true.
