Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers reportedly wants a ton of money on his next deal.
Rodgers and the Packers are currently feuding, and there’s no end in sight as all eyes are on whether or not he’ll be at training camp. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)
Following a report from Adam Schefter that Rodgers turned down a deal to be the highest-paid player in the league, ProFootballReport reported that the star passer wants a ton of money on his next deal.
This off-season, the Packers offered Aaron Rodgers a two-year contract extension that would have tied him to Green Bay for five more seasons and made him the highest-paid QB and player in football.
Rodgers declined the offer, proof it’s not about the money.

According to PFT, a league source told the outlet that Rodgers wants $45 million a year for two seasons, and he wants it fully guaranteed.
That means Rodgers is searching for $90 million guaranteed over two seasons, which is a whole lot of money!
At least one team that has (or at least had) interest in Aaron Rodgers believes he wants to be paid $90 million fully guaranteed over the next two years; that’s the kind of money that would remove his year-to-year status and force the Packers to keep him. https://t.co/xpzUOYvqbu

Is Aaron Rodgers worth $45 million annually? If he’s healthy, then he’s almost certainly worth that kind of money.
We’re talking about one of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of the league. When he’s rolling, Rodgers is untouchable, and I say that as someone who hates the Packers.
The folks at @PointsBetUSA tell PFT that the Packers’ over-under win total wager was removed from board midday Friday due to speculation that Aaron Rodgers will retire next week. https://t.co/rxuBufDR8R

However, we all know Rodgers has a history with injuries, and tying up $45 million annually in a quarterback who gets hurt is a risky decision.
Anything goes wrong with him, and you’ve just handcuffed your team.
