LeSean McCoy has hung up his cleats.
The Eagles announced Thursday morning that the former star running back is ceremoniously returning to the squad to retire as a member of the team that he spent years dominating with. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

McCoy had one hell of a great career, and despite the fact it dropped off in the later years, he was an absolute stud when he played for the Eagles.
In fact, when McCoy was at his prime, there might not have been a more versatile back in the entire league.
In open space, he was a nightmare for defenses.

Now, after playing with the Bucs during the team’s 2020 Super Bowl and remaining unsigned through the start of the 2021 season, the electric running back is calling it a day.
McCoy’s impact on the game and the Eagles won’t be forgotten anytime soon.

Props to McCoy for having an awesome career. He’s definitely earned the right to enjoy retirement.
