Former UFC star Cain Velasquez has reportedly been arrested.
According to TMZ, Velasquez was arrested Monday on an attempted murder charge in California. The former MMA fighter allegedly involved in a shooting in San Jose near a high school. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)
One person is believed to have been shot in the incident.

As always, Velasquez has the right to be presumed innocent until proven guilty. That’s our system here in America and we should all be thankful for it.
Having said that, this is obviously an incredibly serious situation. He’s not being accused of being drunk in public or something like that.
Cain Velasquez is in Santa Clara County jail being held without bail.

The former UFC fighter is being accused of attempted murder after allegedly being involved in a shooting where someone was hit.
Short of actually killing someone, it doesn’t get much worse.
TMZ reported that Velasquez is due in court Wednesday. Hopefully, the authorities can get to the bottom of what happened and deal with it accordingly.
