WWE star Jimmy Uso called a Pensacola Police Department police officer an “asshole” during a newly released July 2021 DUI arrest video.

The footage shows the police officer making what he claims to be a kind remark, wishing Uso luck in passing the sobriety test, but this was allegedly interpreted by Uso as being an insulting comment, according to the video posted by TMZ.

“I’m hoping you beat it this time, too,” the officer said in the video.

“Are you serious? Are you serious? Why would you say that? I just — it’s all good,” Uso replied. “You’re an a***hole. You’re the one that’s worse. You had a remark — you made a remark you shouldn’t have did,” he said, according to the video.

The police officer allegedly made an attempt to clarify his comment, but Uso appeared visibly irritated by the comment and continued to express his apparent annoyance with the officer, according to the video.

“That’s crazy, right? He didn’t have to say that sh*t,” said Uso.

“The nice thing?” replied the officer.

Uso fired back and said, “The nice thing? Bro, you don’t need to say the sh*t you’re saying. I get it. I’ve been here. Let’s do it,” according to the video. (RELATED: Tony La Russa Tells Police He’s A Hall Of Famer In DUI Arrest Video)

The video shows the police officer making an effort to diffuse the situation by explaining once more that his comment wasn’t ill-intentioned. The officer then proceeded to issue an apology to Uso, saying, “I think you misunderstood. So, I’m sorry. I was actually being nice. But, I’m sorry,” according to the video.

During the sobriety test, Uso refused to follow the police officer’s pen with his eyes and allegedly wound up blowing a .202 and .205. He was charged with a misdemeanor DUI and has since negotiated a deal with the court, according to TMZ.  Uso entered a no-contest plea and was required to complete courses related to his charges, which he has completed, according to the outlet.

Uso was previously arrested for allegedly driving under the influence in 2019, according to TMZ.
