“1899” looks like it’s going to be a very dark series.
The plot of the upcoming Netflix series, according to the trailer’s description, is, “A visually stunning Odyssee where nothing is as it seems. The makers of the internationally acclaimed series ‘Dark,’ take us to the year ‘1899’ aboard the Kerberos. What is lost will be found.” (REVIEW: ‘Westworld’ Season 3 Ends With The Possible Deaths Of Multiple Characters)
While that doesn’t tell fans much, I can promise you the trailer paints a very sinister picture. Give it a watch below.
I can only speak for myself, but I think “1899” looks incredibly interesting. Everyone who reads my stuff knows that I’m a huge fan of sinister shows and movies.
That’s just a fact. The first seasons of “Westworld” and “True Detective” are arguably two of the best single seasons of TV ever made.
Why? Because they kept us on the edge of our seat the whole time and felt like we needed to watch hours of comedy afterwards. That’s a good thing!

Now, Netflix is bringing people “1899.” Honestly, I truly don’t even understand what it’s fully about, but I can tell that it’s going to be a dark and mess with our minds.
If that doesn’t get you excited, I don’t know what to tell you. It looks damn good to me.
