Condoleezza Rice is officially an NFL owner.

The Denver Broncos announced Monday morning that the former Secretary of State under George W. Bush has joined the franchise’s ownership group. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

“Her unique experience and extraordinary judgment will be a great benefit to our group and the Broncos organization,” the franchise said in a statement.

This is an awesome move from the Denver Broncos. As the team pointed out, Rice is a football fanatic and she’s never been shy about it.

The bigger names associated with the league, especially when they’re not drawn from the sports world, the better. The bigger the net the league throws out, the better it is for everyone.

Plus, Rice is a legit fascinating person. She served as Secretary of State as America fought two massive wars in the Middle East. I would love to drink a beer with her.

Imagine the stories she could share. I would be hanging on every word for hours.

Now, she’s taking that attitude and energy to the Broncos. Something tells me there’s nothing that will intimidate her at all! After the things she’s been a part of, she must have guts made of absolute steel.
