Newly released surveillance footage obtained from a grocery store in Wyoming captured the last known time vlogger Gabby Petito was seen alive.

According to Fox News, the video shows Petito casually shopping at a Whole Foods in Jackson, Wyoming, with fiancé Brian Laundrie on Aug. 27, 2021, just a few hours before Laundrie brutally murdered her. The two walk side by side and do not appear to be angry with one another. The video then shows Petito selecting some cheese and putting it into her bag. The two then leave the store and get back in their converted camper van, where they sit for the next 20 minutes, according to Fox News.

The newly released video documents Petito and Laundrie arriving at 2:11 p.m., shortly after Laundrie and Petito left Merry Piglets Tex-Mex restaurant. While at that location, Laundrie and three female employees were involved in a public dispute, according to Fox News. Laundrie reportedly walked in and out of the restaurant four times before Petito apologized to the restaurant staff for the interaction, according to Fox News. After leaving the Whole Foods, Petito and Laundrie drove onto Highway 89, which leads to the Bridger-Teton National Forest campsite where Petito’s remains were located several weeks later, according to Fox News.

The coroner revealed Petito’s death was homicide by manual strangulation. On Oct. 20, 2021, Laundrie was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot in a park near his home in North Port Florida. In the notebook he left behind, Laundrie confessed to murdering Petito.
