Troubled 90s actress Lindsay Lohan has returned to Hollywood after an 8 year hiatus with the release of her new Netflix movie “Falling For Christmas.”

The star suffered through a very public struggle with addiction that was widely documented in the media before eventually falling off the radar. After nearly ten years out of the spotlight, Lohan has returned to acting. “I just felt like it was time, and it was just a matter of time before I found the right script and I found it with Falling for Christmas,” Lohan said. “It just worked out perfectly,” she told Yahoo Entertainment.

The former “Mean Girls” star said she was “missing being on set and missing making movies for [her] fans and for [her] audience,” despite admitting she was feeling nervous about her return after such an extended break, according to Yahoo Entertainment.

“The first day on set I’m always nervous on any set I’m on,” Lohan said. The 36-year-old actress noted that she was “even more nervous on this one, but more excited,” according to Yahoo Entertainment.

“I don’t know if I was annoying! I was just really excited to be there,” she said, as she quickly settled into the scene she had been so far removed from for the past several years. (RELATED: REPORT: Britney Spears Is Back And Is Recording Music With Elton John)
