Country music legend-in-the-making Morgan Wallen had a crazy busy weekend, announcing another huge tour and releasing at least three new songs as part of an album sampler.

Let’s start with the fact that Wallen literally just wrapped up a major 55-city “Dangerous” tour to promote his record-breaking “Dangerous: The Double Album” in October. No one thought they’d see this Tennessee native back on the road any time soon, but he’ll be heading out again starting in March.

Wallen shared the news of the next set of tour dates across the U.S., Australia, and New Zealand on his social media over the weekend. He’ll be joined by HARDY, Parker McCollum, Ernest, and Bailey Zimmerman, so you know this is going to be a tour to remember.

The “One Things At A Time” album sampler is a beautiful mashup of Wallen’s reinvention of traditional country, rock-pop, and that uniquely American sound his previous work has more than defined. The title song is a dance-worthy foibles-of-love montage waiting to happen. If “The Notebook” was being filmed today, “One Thing At A Time” would be the theme song. “Days That End In Why” is equally as modern country in terms of genre, with seemingly nonstop harmonies that summoned a vision of late summer nights that don’t quite go as Disney said they would. I don’t really know the world of football and the various state rivalries, but I do know that “Tennessee Fan” has the potential to become an anthem for Wallen.
