I’m not gonna hate on Arkansas at all for this.

Social media is mocking the Arkansas Razorbacks football team over a video posted Monday evening showing off their 2022 Liberty Bowl championship ring.

The Hogs tallied up seven victories in the 2022 campaign, including wins over ranked Ole Miss and Cincinnati. However, they failed to finish the regular season strong, dropping three out of their last four contests. On top of that, they lost them all by three points or less.

To Arkansas‘ credit though, they went into the Liberty Bowl against Kansas looking like a completely different team, hammering the Jayhawks from the get-go that led them to a 31-13 halftime lead. Yeah, they almost blew the game by letting Kansas put up two touchdowns in the last two minutes to force overtime, but regardless, the Razorbacks walked away with a two-point win and the Liberty Bowl championship.

The victory gave Arkansas its seventh win and second consecutive winning season, as well as a bowl ring. Now, while all of that sounds nice, the Razorbacks are being hit with criticism for their ring video — with some saying that they’re treating the victory like it was a national championship win.

Though I’m a fan of the video, social media wasn’t thrilled whatsoever:

Social media always has to drag something, but I personally have no problem with this.

Despite what anybody thinks, they still won a bowl, which still got them a championship ring, so why not show it off? (RELATED: Damar Hamlin Fully Cleared To Resume Playing Football, According To Bills GM Brandon Beane)

Not every school gets one, it’s a piece of swag the players can wear, so … what exactly is the problem here?
