Shocking video has emerged showing the moment a fan stormed the stage and slapped famous singer Ava Max in the face Tuesday night in Los Angeles.
The male somehow managed to make his way onto the stage in the middle of her performance and got close enough to actually make contact. The singer was dancing and singing for the crowd when the man approached the singer, prompting an immediate response from security. Members of Ava Max’s team grabbed a hold of the fan, but he managed to slap the star across the face before they dragged him away.
The video shows the mere seconds it took for him to get onto the stage, and the lightning-quick slap that quickly followed. Fans who blinked might have missed it, but Max certainly felt the slap, reporting later that she suffered a scratch to her eye as a result of the altercation, according to TMZ.

The man was ushered out of the building by security personnel but was not arrested, according to TMZ.
He reportedly said he did not mean to hurt or harm Max, but was only hoping he could “hold her.”
The extent of Max’s eye injury has not been revealed.
Just days earlier, singer Bebe Rexha required stitches above her eye after a fan threw his phone at her while she performed onstage.
