Whoopi Goldberg wore shoes that featured decapitated Barbie heads as an ode to her love for the movie, but completely missed the mark with the disastrous footwear.

Goldberg is known for her quirky shoe collection, and has professed her love of the “Barbie” movie, but somehow thought it would be brilliant to shove a bunch of decapitated Barbie heads into the bottom portion of her shoe as a form of celebration. The chopped off Barbie heads were shoved into a plastic compartment at the bottom of her shoe, and peered out from every angle, like little murder victims trapped in a box.  We’re all about Barbie trends, but someone needed to tell her that decapitating Barbie wasn’t the way to go.

Goldberg’s twist on Barbie trends went too far, and if anything, it made it seem as though she hated all things Barbie. If she loved them so much, why would she snap their heads off, shove a bunch of their heads together – at the bottom of her shoe, no less – and then proceed to effectively walk on their heads with each step?

If this is how Goldberg shows her love for things, we’re not sure we want to see what she does when she doesn’t like something.

The actress and host of “The View” proudly rocked her footwear while defending the movie against backlash from Ben Shapiro, who described the blockbuster film as being a “flaming garbage heap of a film,” on Twitter.(RELATED: Cillian Murphy Openly Declares He’d Be Willing To Play Ken In The Next “Barbie’)

If Goldberg was such a fan of the film, perhaps she could remove the creepy smiling Barbie heads from the bottom of her shoe, and showcase them on a more meaningful “platform.”
