Frenchman Remi Lucidi died at age 30 while performing an extreme stunt on a high-rise building in Hong Kong in late July, reports say.
Lucidi was a daredevil stuntman who took part in extreme climbing, the Associated Press (AP) reported Monday. Police confirmed a body was found on a patio in the affluent Mid-Levels neighborhood of Hong Kong. Local media subsequently identified the individual as Lucidi, according to AP.
An initial investigation suggested Lucidi fell off a rooftop, the outlet reported. Detectives did not find a suicide note on the scene, and it is believed his death was the result of a stunt gone wrong, according to AP.

The South China Morning Post cited an unnamed source who claimed Lucidi was last spotted knocking on the window of a penthouse apartment Thursday morning. AP said it was unable to corroborate the man’s identity.
Lucidi was best known by his moniker, “Remi Enigma,” and frequently posted images of his daring stunts on social media.

Lucidi posted an Instagram photo of the Hong Kong cityscape at night roughly a week prior to reports of his death. He tagged the image’s location as Times Square in the Causeway Bay shopping neighborhood. The photo was seemingly snapped from high above, and may have been part of a stunt.
