Tennessee police arrested Britney Spears’ ex-husband, Jason Alexander, for stalking at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Alexander remains in jail at this time, and his bond has been set at $50,000. The circumstances surrounding his arrest have not been revealed, and it is not yet clear if his stalking charges are related to Britney Spears in any way, according to TMZ. Information pertaining to his next court appearance have not been revealed.

Alexander has had several other run-ins with the law in the past, such as in June 2022, when he arrived to Spears’ wedding to Sam Ashgari as an uninvited guest. Alexander began recording on his phone as he stormed Spears’ home armed with a knife, and attempted to get past her security guards, according to TMZ. He did manage to gain entry into her home, but security intercepted him before he had a chance to get face-to-face with the star.

Britney obtained a three-year restraining order against Alexander shortly after he was arrested at her home. He was charged with felony stalking, vandalism and trespassing battery, among other charges in relation to that incident, according to TMZ.

Alexander pleaded no contest to the aggravated trespass and battery charges and managed to get his felony stalking and misdemeanor vandalism charges dismissed. The court ordered Alexander to serve 128 days in jail for his actions. (RELATED: Sofia Vergara Moves To Protect Her Valuables And Assets Amid Divorce)
