My man Tom Brady! Makin’ moves!

NFL legend and seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady is now a minority owner of Birmingham City FC, a second-tier Championship soccer club in England.

Becoming chairman of the advisory board for the club, Brady has entered into a partnership with the owners of Birmingham City, Knighthead Capital Management LLC.

Brady will “apply his extensive leadership experience and expertise across several components of the club, including working alongside the sports science department to advise on health, nutrition, wellness, and recovery systems and programs,” according to a Birmingham statement.

The former quarterback is now the second NFL retiree in the past three months to buy a stake in an English soccer team, joining JJ Watt, who is a minority owner of English Premier League club Burnley in May.

Man, I’m loving how America is getting more and more interested in soccer.

I know for me personally, this news comes the morning after that glorious match between Inter Miami and Orlando City in the Florida Derby, and it made me even more invested in the beautiful game now.

I don’t think I’ve ever in my life been entertained by a soccer match the way I was last night, seeing Lionel Messi score another two goals to send my club on to the next round of the Leagues Cup. It was such a magical night that I decided to make Inter Miami my top soccer team over Chelsea. (RELATED: Argentinos Juniors’ Luciano Sánchez Screams After Fully Dislocating His Knee)

Hey … it’s Miami, we have Lionel Messi and all of this is taking place in America. Why not at this point?

It truly was a magical night.

Let’s keep getting more interested and invested, America! Let’s win that FIFA World Cup!
