Pulitzer Prize-winning author Walter Isaacson’s biography, “Elon Musk,” features details about what the author called a “mind-bogglingly painful” relationship between Musk and Amber Heard.

The biography includes insight from Musk’s brother, Kimbal Musk. Kimbal labeled Heard as “toxic” and “a nightmare.” Kimbal added it was “sad” Musk had a tendency to fall for women who are “beautiful” but “have a very dark side,” according to TooFab.

Musk and Heard reportedly bonded over some of the “nerdier” traits they shared. The pair met in 2013 and began dating in 2017, according to TooFab.

Isaacson’s book stated many who knew of Musk and Heard did not approve of the relationship, which reportedly began shortly after Heard and Johnny Depp were divorced.

The biography includes details surrounding an image of Heard dressed up as Mercy from the popular video game, “Overwatch.” Musk recently posted the image to social media.

Isaacson wrote that Heard spent “two months designing and commissioning a head-to-toe costume so she could role-play” for Elon after he told her she reminded him of the popular video game charracter, per TooFab.

The relationship was reportedly full of ups and downs. After the breakup, Elon recalled enduring “18 months of unrelenting insanity,” according to TooFab.

In spite of it all, Heard and Musk seem to have kind words to share about one another now that their relationship dust has settled

“I love him very much,” Amber said in the book. (RELATED: Elon Musk Exposes Risque Role Play Photo Of Ex Amber Heard)

“Elon loves fire, and sometimes it burns him,” she said.
