Students at a German University asked the school to install glory holes in campus bathrooms for “diversification” purposes, according to German news outlet Presse Augsburg.

Students at the University of Augsburg requested the addition of glory holes to campus bathrooms, in addition to condoms, knee pads, “licking wipes” and other sanitary products, per Presse Augsburg

“Three glory holes are to be built in the lecture hall center opposite the entrance, where the information boards are currently located,” the students’ request states, according to Presse Augsburg.

The students also requested the holes to be “soundproof and opaque,” and expected school maintenance staff to regularly clean them, Presse Augsburg reported. (RELATED: 24-Year-Old Teacher Busted For Allegedly Sending Nudes To 16-Year-Old Student)

“A glory hole would contribute to diversification on campus, as kink could also be experienced or lived at the university. Sex can also be a relaxing activity, which can be very useful in the often stressful university life,” the petitioners explained, per the outlet.

While the students who petitioned for the glory holes noted the modification was requested 10 times on a school wish board, not all of the student body was open to the idea.

“Setting this up at a university is not only inappropriate but also highly scandalous and unacceptable,” the school’s Ring Christian Democratic Students (RCDS) group said. “Such an idea not only contradicts the principles of educational institutions, but also represents a serious violation of ethical and moral standards,” RCDS noted, according to Presse Augsburg.

The student council met to discuss the proposal and ultimately considered it a “joke motion” and will not pursue it further, Press Augsburg reported.
