Another year, another round of NBA “City Edition” jerseys.
The league unveiled the alternate uniforms for all 30 franchises Thursday. The 2023-24 season marks the seventh partnership campaign the NBA has had with Nike to produce designs that are representative of each team’s tradition and fanbase.
This season will be different, however. The City Edition jerseys have more importance due to them being donned during the inaugural in-season tournament, where franchises will be competing for the NBA Cup. The jerseys will also coordinate with the European soccer-style tourney courts that were dropped Monday. (RELATED: 76ers’ Joel Embiid Hit With $35,000 Fine After D-Generation X Celebration)
It never fails when it comes to the City Edition unis raising eyebrows with their unique designs — both good and bad. This season, designs have come out early.
