The hit show “Yellowstone” made a major announcement Thursday, finally revealing the show’s much-anticipated future.

The final chapter of “Yellowstone” story will premiere in November 2024 and close out the second half of season five, Deadline announced. There was no official confirmation, but it sounds like lead actor Kevin Costner will finish up his time as John Dutton. And we’ve got potentially two new spinoffs to look forward to!

The working title for at least one of the new shows is “1944.” It will follow a similar journey to other prequels, like “1883” and “1923.” The premiere of “1944” isn’t expected until after we close out “Yellowstone,” but I dare say there will be many more updates to come.

Paramount+ is also prepping for what sounds like an epic new chronicle, “2024.” Matthew McConaughey and actors from the flagship series are expected to star and it’s already being talked-up by 101 Studios CEO David Glasser.

“The global success of ‘Yellowstone’ continues to thrill and excite us at 101 Studios and Bosque Ranch. This has been such an exhilarating ride with our partners at MTV Entertainment Studios and we can’t wait to bring ‘1944’ and ‘2024’ to audiences everywhere,” Glasser told Deadline. In the meantime, we’ve got “Lawmen: Bass Reeves” to enjoy, which is produced by “Yellowstone” co-creator Taylor Sheridan. I also highly recommend checking out “Tulsa King” and “Special Ops: Lioness,” just to get yourself extra excited for the year ahead!
