Corporate news media had another meltdown Tuesday over Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson’s personal Christian values.

CNN conducted a “review” of more than 100 of Johnson’s prior public statements, but only seemed to share the ones they think their 12 extreme leftist viewers wouldn’t like. These included interviews, speeches and public commentaries throughout his multi-decadal political career, which seemed to be perfectly manipulated into a cringe hit-piece on the Republican Speaker.

“One of the primary purposes of the law in civil government is to restrain evil,” Johnson said in 2010, the outlet noted. “We have to acknowledge collectively that man is inherently evil and needs to be restrained.” CNN did an excellent job of completely ignoring the context of Johnson’s statements, ensuring their poor reportage makes him sound like a tyrannical dictator.

But he’s not wrong. Look at the rates of violent crime, homicide, petty crime and more over the last decade? It’s risen dramatically because of anti-law enforcement sentiment, and proves people will be uncivilized if they can get away with it. And for some reason, most of our liberal lawmakers apparently like letting violent criminals do whatever they want.

CNN further claimed Johnson wants to imprison doctors who murder unborn children, post the Ten Commandments in public buildings, end anti-hate-crime-laws and institute Bible study in public schools. He sounds like a pretty wild guy, right? That’s exactly what CNN wants you to think, because the article authors went out of their way to ensure their 11 readers didn’t understand why Johnson made the statements he did.

It turns out Johnson understands how much voters respect and appreciate traditional American values and Christianity. And he actually opposes anti-freedom of speech laws, many of which center around “hate” legislation. You know, like how some people in other Western countries are being threatened with prison time for calling biological men “male” or making jokes in private group chats. How freaking ridiculous is that? (RELATED: CNN Announces New Chairman And CEO)

It’s a real shame CNN is focusing so much effort on poorly researched hit pieces. You’d think their ten remaining readers would benefit more from knowing what’s happening in the world that actually impacts them. But clearly, CNN has no interest in this. They’re pretty much just a propaganda wing for the liberals at this point, and it’s embarrassing for them.
