Country music icon Morgan Wallen shared a wrap-up reel of 2023 on his Instagram page Tuesday, and it should inspire all of you to go after your dreams.

Imagine having your dreams come true, and then seeing them all destroyed because you said one thing you shouldn’t have, and someone was filming you. Morgan Wallen could have destroyed any hope he had of being the biggest thing in all-genre music when he was caught using a racial slur in 2021. But he sat back, took the hit, learned from his ignorance and came back at the top of his game.

In a brief behind-the-scenes look at Wallen’s seriously private personal life, it seems like Wallen was seriously humbled by the experience. And he’s still insanely grateful for the skyrocketing success he achieved in 2023 thanks to his team, his work ethic and his enormous fan base.

“A year of some valley lows, and some mountaintop highs. But a year that I will forever hold dear. Thank y’all for being so good to me, for allowing me to create with freedom, and for showing up on the road with the best energy I’ve ever seen. Let’s do it again in ’24,” Wallen wrote in the caption, tagging the creator of the reel, David Lehr.

Featuring clips of his major award show wins, comments on his almost career-ending illness, and footage of him in the studio with Post Malone, it really does make you wonder why you did so little last year, huh? I know that’s how I feel. Kinda. (RELATED: Morgan Wallen Opens Up About Major Life Decision)

Personally, I don’t care about Wallen’s reel. I already knew he had a good 2023. I want him to repost the sample he shared of his, Ernest, and Post Malone’s track. And I’m probably going to sulk until that happens.
