Robert Downey Jr. hilariously trolled the Critics Choice Association while accepting an award on their stage Sunday by reading a slew of their scathing reviews.

Downey Jr. thrilled the audience by reciting the negative feedback he has received.

“The Critics Choice Association, they’ve given me such beautiful feedback, really just so many great moments,” he said. “And some of it’s so poetic. I just want to share some of their thoughts with you over the years …” and with that, he read some of the harshest messages.

“The first one’s kinda like haiku: sloppy, messy and lazy,” he said.

The second critic he cited compared one of his performances to “Pee Wee Herman emerging from a coma,” while he shared that a British critic once berated him by calling him “a puzzling waste of talent.”

The camera panned the audience, capturing the reactions of Downey Jr.’s famous friends and colleagues as they processed the many negative reviews the famous actor has overcome.

Downey Jr. went on to quote one final review that he noted had really “lingered” with him. He looked around at the crowd as he shared that a critic once wrote he was as “amusing as a bedlocked fart.” (RELATED: ‘Motherf*cker, You Don’t Have Friends In The Joint’: Robert Downey Jr. Describes His Life In Jail)

When he finished toying with the association and entertaining the crowd, Downey Jr. thanked his colleagues and all those involved with the wildly successful film, “Oppenheimer.” Downey Jr. proved that in spite of the critics taking aim, he still has what it takes. He took home the award for best supporting actor for his performance in the movie, which dominated the charts alongside “Barbie” for several weeks.
