Former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce announced his retirement from the NFL on Monday and appears to already be auditioning for a new career as a member of the “Jackass” franchise.

Kelce can be seen diving off a firetruck onto a flaming plastic table in a promotional video posted to his “New Heights” podcast’s Twitter account.

The video was captioned with “Jason’s retirement is off to a hot start … literally.”

Before taking the leap, Kelce seemed to pay homage to “Jackass.” He appeared to emulate the franchise’s star, who before performing stunts would say “I’m Johnny Knoxville, welcome to Jackass.” Kelce put his own spin on it, uttering “I’m Jason Kelce, welcome to New Heights,” before diving onto the table ass-first.

The table crumpled beneath his hefty frame and Kelce stood up, his ass literally still on fire.

Brother Travis looked on, laughing hysterically and clapping like a seal.

Kelce was making good on a promise he made to Bills Mafia, a rowdy group of Bills fans infamous for demolishing plastic tables at Bills tailgates. (RELATED: NFL Legend Tears Up During Retirement Speech As He Recounts Moment Coach Had ‘Huge Balls’)

In February New Heights ran a poll asking viewers to judge who had the better name — the Bills or Travis Kelce’s Chiefs. Kelce promised, “If the Bills win this, I swear on Buffalo Bill’s legendary reputation I will jump through a flaming table.”

Well, the Bills did indeed win and Kelce made good on his vow. The moment is yet another hilarious chapter in the ever-growing Jason Kelce lore. It’s also another fascinating stop on his retirement tour. The post-NFL career for Kelce has been quite rowdy.

He and Travis made an appearance at Tuesday night’s Cleveland Cavaliers game and absolutely deleted some beers the Cavaliers mascot gave them.

Kelce had himself a hell of a career. It’s only fitting he has one hell of a retirement too.
