A recent poll showed President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump tied among general election voters. However, when the firm asked who their neighbor was likely to support in the 2024 presidential election, these same voters gave one candidate a big boost.

Contrary to President Biden’s expectations, a recent I&I/TIPP poll from May 29 to May 31 revealed a positive shift in voter sentiment toward Trump. The poll showed that voters are now more inclined to vote for Trump than a month ago, with Trump gaining 2 points in the I&I/TIPP poll. This led to a tie between the candidates, at 41% each, after the verdict was announced. (ROOKE: Trump’s Got A Plan. It Involves Deportation And Beautiful Moms)

Even more interesting is that voters signal they think their neighbors are more likely to vote for Trump over Biden by a large margin. The poll found that 43% answered that their neighbor is expected to vote for Trump, compared to 31% who said their vote would go to Biden. While 73% of Republicans said their neighbor would vote for Trump over Biden, and only 15% of Democrats felt the same, a surprising 42% of Independents said their neighbor is likely voting for Trump.

Biden would do much better in the polls if he spent half as much time fixing the economy and closing the border as he does enacting lawfare against his political opponent. The Democrats are going to scream at the top of their lungs that Trump is a convicted felon, but come November, it won’t matter if Americans still can’t afford to buy a house or feed their families. No one in their right mind would vote for another four years of being poor and unsafe.
