Netflix officially greenlit a new series from the “Stranger Things” creators, the Duffer brothers, called “Something Very Bad Is Going To Happen,” and we couldn’t agree more.

“Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen” is technically the working title for the series, according to Variety, and I absolutely love it. I hope the Duffers don’t change it. The official show logline reads: “An atmospheric horror series set at a wedding, following a bride and groom in the week leading up to their ill-fated nuptials. That’s not a spoiler – just read the title …”

Ugh, what a beautiful way to smash through the fourth wall of writing and invite the audience into this show as a wedding guest, not just a spectator. The series was written by Haley Z. Boston, who also serves as executive producer.

“We were knocked flat when we first read Haley’s script. She is a major new talent with a singular voice — her writing is twisted, terrifying, funny, and just … very Haley,” the Duffers added. “We feel so lucky to be producing her first show and we can’t wait to share her vision with the rest of the world.” (RELATED: ‘The Watchers’ Trailer Suggests Cult Classic Horror Films Are Finally Back And Scarier Than Ever)

Since there is basically nothing to know about the series yet, here’s to hoping it is as good as the title. And is it just me or do we need some scary escapism from the horror of real life right now? Up until Monday night, when one of my favorite authors got a really terrific job promotion, things looked pretty horrifying for the future. Let’s hope things brighten up a bit from now on, eh?
