A regime media outlet finally seemed to notice (and care about) the vast censorship complex that has been nuking conservative voices for years after an account raising money for Vice President Kamala Harris was suspended from X on Monday.

The Washington Post claimed that Elon Musk was trying to “influence the online discourse in the months leading to the presidential election” by taking action against “White Dudes for Harris” (@dudes4harris) shortly after their fundraising call, which raised more than 4 million for the Harris campaign.

Of course, there is no proof that Musk made any decision to suspend the account. Alexander B. Howard, a longtime tech policy journalist, told WaPo that the suspension was likely a mistake, not malicious intent. The official reasoning behind its removal from X is that the account was dinged for “violating [X’s] rules against evading suspension.” The @dudes4harris account has already been reinstated. Still, Gene Kimmelman, a technology policy expert who has worked for Democratic administrations, told WaPo that X has “enormous” influence over the minds of voters without any self-awareness this act pales in comparison to the election meddling that has happened toward Republicans for years and is still ongoing.

Despite thousands of conservative accounts still being censored on other platforms like YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, WaPo seems to only care about the “White Dudes for Harris” account. Currently, there isn’t a single piece written by one of their “so-called” technology journalists claiming the censorship of the assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump on Google is election interference. If it is mentioned, it’s spoken about like it’s just fringe right-wing theory that should be ignored.

A federal judge threw out a lawsuit the Republican National Committee brought against Google for bias. WaPo’s technology journalist said it was “a win for Google, which has been under renewed scrutiny and criticism from Republicans who claim the search giant is unfairly biased against it.”

“On Sunday, X owner Elon Musk accused Google of having a “search ban” on Trump because the auto-complete feature in Google’s search bar did not automatically fill in the word “Trump” after typing in “president Donald.” Others accused Google of trying to suppress information about the attempted assassination of Trump by not filling in the former president’s name on search queries about attempted assassinations. Google responded on X by saying that it doesn’t autocomplete queries related to political violence and that it wasn’t trying to suppress any information,” WaPo wrote.

They are essentially saying, “Well, the global corporation that swayed elections in the past and showed an obvious bias toward left-wing ideology said it’s not doing the thing it’s clearly doing, so just be quiet, you crazy conspiracy theorists.” (ROOKE: Media Didn’t Learn A Single Lesson From Hiding Biden)

Outlets like WaPo believe that the rules shouldn’t apply to both sides. It’s censorship for thee but not for me. It’s perfectly fine for search engines to erase the assassination attempt from their predictive text or send the user links to Harris propaganda when they are looking for information on Trump. These actions are just unsubstantiated “claims,” while the seemingly accidental takedown of a Harris account amounts to an attack on Democracy (big D).

It gets so much worse.

No censorship is good. It’s inherently un-American for companies to participate in anti-free speech policies. Conservatives have steadfastly believed that tech giants should take their thumbs off the scale, especially concerning political discourse. However, WaPo fainting over the “White Dudes for Harris” account being temporarily suspended as if it’s tantamount to the end of the republic deserves to be mocked. One account’s misfortune pales in comparison to the thousands of examples of this happening to conservatives.
