Police reportedly arrested Porn star Kendra Sunderland for felony possession of a controlled substance in Texas on Aug. 1.
Legal documents said the 29-year-old adult film star was taken into police custody at roughly noon in Montgomery County, Texas, according to TMZ. Sunderland was allegedly in possession of marijuana, which is still illegal in Texas. The court documents indicated she had less than one gram of THC in her possession at the time of her arrest, according to TMZ.

The circumstances leading up to Sunderland’s arrest were not identified, and it remains unclear what led police to investigate the adult film star.
Sunderland currently resides in Nevada, where it is legal for adults over the age of 21 to possess up to 2.5 ounces of cannabis in a private residence, or in a licensed social use lounge, according to TMZ. It’s unclear if she was aware of the laws in Texas that strictly prohibit the use and possession of cannabis, according to TMZ.
Sunderland spoke out about the incident, and expressed frustration over the matter.

“I’ve been advised not to say anything. I’m not trying to incriminate myself any further,” she said, according to TMZ.
“I just know that I’m not a criminal. I’m just a stoner.”

Sunderland shot to fame when her viral webcam video filmed in the library of Oregon State University in 2014. She became known as ‘Library Girl,’ but was later expelled from the university and faced legal action, according to National World. She went on to pursue a career in the adult film industry and has earned several awards at the Adult Entertainment Expo.
