The University of Central Florida is having a nightmare of a football season with a current record of 0-8. The good news for fans of the UCF Knights is the misery of the team is resulting in some free benefits for fans.
Uber is offering new riders a free first ride until UCF wins a game, according to ESPN reporter Darren Rovell.

UCF only has four games remaining this season, so the offer ultimately won’t be around for very long — even if teams goes the rest of the season without winning.
Uber handing out free rides, however, isn’t the first major promotional offer surrounding the football team. An Orlando bar called The Basement, has been offering free beer until UCF wins since late September. According to ESPN’s Rovell, that stunt has cost the bar around $34,000 in beer. UCF is on its way to having one of the worst seasons in the history of college football. But at least the fans have something to cheer about.
