A man was shot and killed Monday morning in Stone Mountain, Ga., after being introduced to the business end of a gun during a home invasion.
The unidentified male suspect entered the apartment located off of North Hairston Road and assaulted a female victim inside the apartment, according to NBC affiliate 11 Alive News. (RELATED: Chicago Man With Concealed Gun Shoots And Kills Armed Robber)
A male related to the victim inside of the apartment got his gun, and fired the fatal shot into the suspect. (RELATED: Armed Citizen Shoots And Kills Waffle House Robber)
This shooting is another in a string of self-defense shootings this year involving home invasions. Similar shootings have taken place in Oklahoma, Texas and Missouri.
