People on Twitter were less than pleased that CBS and the NCAA decided to make the selection show for March Madness two hours long.
The selection show historically lasted just 30 minutes, but this year’s show lasted two hours, with one region released every half hour. The show took so long that somebody eventually just leaked the entire bracket early. (RELATED: Check Out The 2016 March Madness Bracket)
Twitter sounded off on the debacle of a show.
Hopefully the brackets leaking will make CBS go back to a half hour show next year. Holding them for two hours is a joke.

CBS ruined their own show by stretching it to two hours. The leak was a mercy killing. https://t.co/s3wvFCE4wF

I would watch a 30 for 30 on the leaked bracket. What if I told you CBS tried to stretch 15 minutes of information into two hours?

If karma isn’t real, explain why the tournament bracket leaked the year CBS extended the selection show to two hours

I fell asleep…has the selection show ended yet?

Watching the #NIT selection show on @ESPNU. Great opening line by announcers, “our bracket is not leaked and show is only 30 minutes long”

By the time this Selection show is over, ESPN will air a 30 for 30 on how long it was

It was an absolutely unbearable selection show from CBS this year. Hopefully the leaked bracket and viewer outrage will result in the show being reverted to the old format.
