“He hasn’t won yet, and we have to accept the verdict of the people,” Giuliani said during an interview with The Daily Caller from inside the Republican nominee’s election night party Tuesday. “Looks to me like it’s going to be Donald Trump.”

The former mayor of New York said there’s a reason Trump has won states like Florida, Ohio and North Carolina. (RELATED: Rudy Giuliani: ‘Lester Holt Should Be Ashamed Of Himself’)

“I expected him to win,” he said. “I always excepted it to be close. I mean we are a very divided country and I think Donald will find a way to bring us together.”

When asked if Clinton is at risk of losing more typically blue states to Trump, Giuliani said yes.

“I’m going to tell you why — because he reaches across the aisles. This is a revolution, small r, of the people against the Washington establishment, Democratic and Republican.”

“Victory is within reach and I think my country will have a great president if they elect Donald Trump.”
