The rumor mill had been churning for the past week, and it looks like it turned out to be a 100 percent correct. I like this hire a lot. Expectations at UCLA are way lower than they would be if he took a job in the SEC or Big Ten. It’s hard to describe how different expectations will be.
UCLA will give him plenty of time to develop his players, system, and build the program. With enough time there’s no doubt that Kelly will get the job done. Anybody who doubts that just needs to take a look at what he did at Oregon.
Things are about to get really fun in the PAC-12, and it’s going to be a blast to watch.
