Nelly has settled with a woman who accused him of raping her on his tour bus last October in Washington.

An attorney for the 43-year-old rapper — born Cornell Iral Haynes Jr. — told Variety magazine on Thursday that both he and the woman, Monique Green, have mutually settled her sexual assault lawsuit against him and that no “money changed hands.” (RELATED: Rapper Nelly Arrested Saturday For Alleged Sexual Assault)

Green’s attorney, Karen Kohler, agreed the parties had agreed to dismiss their cases but disputed the claim that no money was involved, according to TMZ.

Last year, the “Just A Dream” hitmaker was arrested and taken into custody on his bus outside a Wal-Mart in Seattle after the woman accused him of sexually assaulting her.

Nelly denied the accusations and said their encounter was consensual. His attorney, Scott Rosenblum, accused the woman of doing so out of “greed and vindictiveness.”  The rapper then countersued claiming Green had defamed him.

Prosecutors ended up dropping the second-degree rape charges after Green said she would “not testify” against the rapper and just wanted the whole thing “to end.”

“We do not live in a society where a 21-year-old college student can feel safe enough to pursue criminal charges against a celebrity for an alleged rape,” the woman’s attorney Karen Kohler shared. “Who will believe her? People are saying horrible things already. She cannot handle this. She is about to break.”
