Cardi B is definitely not the most private celebrity, but there’s no denying that her husband Offset’s new album promo is what some would call, ‘an invasion of privacy.’
At the Grammys on Sunday night, Cardi B made serious “money moves,” delivering a show-stopping performance of her newest single, “Money”. She also became the first solo female artist to win Rap Album of the Year for her debut project, “Invasion of Privacy”. While Migos rapper and husband Offset—born Kiari Kendrell Cephus—appeared to be cheering his wife on from the audience, it seems he was also making money moves of his own.
Just shortly after his baby mama’s big win, Offset took to social media to reveal the release date of his upcoming solo album and its supporting documentary. And though the Feb. 22 release date has fans buzzing, it’s the 45-second video that’s getting the most online attention.
Packed with behind-the-scenes footage of Offset laying down tracks in the studio, performing on stage for sold-out shows and Facetiming his son, the first half of the teaser gives an intimate look at the rapper’s journey to the album. The last 15 seconds, however, take the Grammy for ‘most intimate,’ cutting to never-before-seen footage of Cardi B giving birth to their first and only daughter together, Kulture.

Some fans also accused Offset of stealing his wife’s spotlight for self-promotion, and for not letting her have her moment:
Offset is so fucking cringe ???????? Let our sis Cardi have her spotlight for a MIN DAMN. pic.twitter.com/FxA96uGh7S

Offset’s constant centering of himself during Cardi’s biggest moments is complete trash and I need people to stop cheering him on and I need people to stop cheering on people who don’t respect the boundaries of others. It’s not romantic, and that is not healthy love.

Offset is a small market team with a bad front office trying to hold on to a superstar

But if there was any bad blood between the couple, neither of them showed it. Following her big win, the rapper posted a video to Instagram that, in true Cardi B fashion, let her fans know exactly how she was feeling:
From the looks of it, the music-making power couple seems pretty happy.
