One popular “Game of Thrones” theory suggests Daenerys might have more dragons than the audience knows about.

WARNING: I DON’T REALLY CONSIDER THIS TO BE A SPOILER, BUT YOU MIGHT WANT TO STOP READING IF YOU’RE NOT INTO THEORIES. CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED.

Following the conclusion of the fourth episode of season, we know Daenerys only has one remaining dragon, which is Drogon. However, the preview for the episode tonight features Euron looking terrified at something in the sky, and this has caused people to wonder if there are more dragons in play than we realize. It also goes back to Drogon’s mysterious disappearance back in season five. (RELATED: These Are The Sexiest Photos Of ‘Game Of Thrones‘ Star Emilia Clarke On The Internet)

The Reddit theory from Justzxcvbnm states in part:

This theory says that in the fifth season, when Drogon spends almost a whole season gone, he’s actually laying eggs and is in fact a female that’s why he was burning fields full of sheep, goats and etc to feed the baby dragons. He’s the only one who disappeared, the only one who drove herds and took them all like roasted sheep. What made me rethink this theory was after I saw an EP5 promo where Euron Greyjoy looks up at the sky and hears a roar of himself. Hears that the “grunt is very different and gets scared.” Since he has seen the dragons for a long time he wouldn’t be scared for just a dragon, but what if theres more dragons?

When I first heard this “Game of Thrones” theory, I thought it was outrageous and not likely. However, the more I think about it, the more I’m starting to believe it’s very probable.

Euron’s expression in the preview is one of extreme nervousness. He’s already killed one dragon and he’s seen Drogon before. Why would he be so scared to see Drogon again?

Clearly, there’s something else going on.

I understand some criticism of the show, but let’s not pretend that “Game of Thrones” isn’t incredible at mapping out things over years.

It feels like most people (even myself to a certain degree) had completely forgotten about Drogon’s season five disappearance. What was the dragon doing? I think we all assumed it had just left Dany for no really good reason. (RELATED: ‘Game Of Thrones‘ Is Excellent In New Episode ‘The Last Of The Starks’)

What if it was laying eggs when Jorah and Tyrion saw it?

You can expect something major to happen tonight, and more dragons appearing would certainly be a wild twist right up the alley of the hit HBO show.

Make sure to tune in tonight to find out if any of this theory turns out to be correct.
