Rapper Freddie Gibbs made it clear in a recent video that he’s not a fan of Colin Kaepernick.

Gibbs said “f**k Colin Kaepernick” in a video posted to his Instagram story that has gone viral, and he couldn’t really have been more blunt about his feelings about the NFL situation with Jay-Z.

“All y’all n*ggas marched for Colin Kaepernick and he took a settlement and ain’t tell y’all what he got or nothing. He settled. Let it go. Y’all hating on Jay-Z for tryna own something in the NFL. Y’all n*ggas some muthaf**kin’ crabs,” Gibbs said, according to TheSource.com. (RELATED: Colin Kaepernick Shares Workout Video, Doesn’t Throw A Single Football In It)

I think it’s safe to say Gibbs is no fan of Kaepernick at all. I might not endorse some of the language he used, but I don’t disagree with the point he’s making.

Jay-Z has the opportunity to join the most exclusive fraternity in the world by getting involved with the NFL. In what fantasyland should he turn that down to appease Colin Kaepernick and his anthem protests?

The music mogul is much better off working with the NFL than working against it. Gibbs, who is also incredibly successful, understands business.

I hope Jay-Z crushes it with the NFL. He’s a businessman, he’s about making money, he’s about influence and he can do all of that and more with the league.

If you’re not behind that, then you probably just hate making money. Clearly, Gibbs isn’t down with that at all.

It should be interesting to see what kind of backlash Gibbs takes from this. I doubt he’ll care much. If he’s down with saying “f**k Colin Kaepernick,” then I don’t think he’ll care much about the reaction.
