Michigan can’t fire football coach Jim Harbaugh.

After five straight losses to the Buckeyes and repeatedly disappointing expectations, people are starting to wonder if it’s time for Harbaugh to go. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Anybody who honestly believes that is an idiot. Let me repeat that for everybody who it might not have been crystal clear for.

You’re a moron if you think Michigan should can Jim Harbaugh as the school’s football coach. You’re a next-level idiot.

Has Harbaugh failed to meet expectations? Yes. Has he failed to beat Ohio State? Yes. Those are facts, and they’re undeniable.

However, the idea that he should be fired is laughable. He is 47-17 at Michigan since 2015, and has never won fewer than eight games in a season. That’s pretty damn good.

Is he winning like OSU is? Of course not, but the reality of the situation is OSU is just better as a program right now.

That’s what happens when you go from Jim Tressel to Urban Meyer and now Ryan Day. Harbaugh inherited a trash program.

The idea he was going to turn things around immediately and start winning titles is just laughable. Plus, who is Michigan going to get?

Who are they going to hire who is better than Harbaugh? Point to the man. Seriously, point to the guy who should take over the Wolverines and would be an upgrade over Harbaugh. Michigan fans are so delusional they probably think Nick Saban would take the job.

Firing Harbaugh would be insanely stupid, and anybody who supports the idea doesn’t know what the hell they’re talking about.
