Michael Jordan’s Nike Apparel Brand Makes $1 Billion In A Quarter For The First Time Ever

Michael Jordan’s apparel brand with Nike hit a major milestone in the last fiscal quarter.

According to Sole Collector, Nike announced that the Jordan Brand made $1 billion during the second fiscal quarter. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

During the last fiscal year, Jordan Brand made just north of $3 billion.

In case you were wondering whether or not Michael Jordan, who won six rings with the Chicago Bulls, is a very wealthy man, this should be all you ever need to hear.

He hasn’t played basketball since 2003, and his name still generates massive revenue for Nike.

There’s a reason Michael Jordan is estimated to be worth about $2 billion, and it has very little to do with contract money made in the NBA.

It has virtually everything to do with who Michael Jordan is as a brand. Despite not playing in nearly two decades, people still want to rep his name, image and brand.
