Well, there it is, folks. We knew this was coming after it was reported the the Titans wouldn’t go after Tom Brady, and now we have some numbers.
That is a monster deal for Tannehill, and it’s going to make him a very rich man. At the same time, it doesn’t break the bank for Tennessee.

The numbers for the first two years are pretty friendly. That means the team will still have plenty of other cash to chase other weapons.
It’s truly incredible what a comeback story Tannehill has written. He was pushed out of Miami, he started as a backup in Tennessee and now he’s the starting quarterback with a fat new contract.
I can’t remember the last time a quarterback bounced back in such a big way. He deserves every penny, and I hope like hell he enjoys it.

Now, we’ll see if he can have another great season in 2020 with the Titans like he did this past season.
