The season one finale of “The Plot Against America” is Monday night on HBO.

After five episodes of differing quality, season one of the hit HBO alternate history show will come to an end Monday night. (REVIEW: Dolores’ Plan Is Revealed In Outstanding New ‘Westworld’ Episode ‘Genre’)

Despite the fact I started off kind of slow with the show about Charles Lindbergh becoming president, it’s picked up nicely down the stretch.

Right now, the country is on the brink of chaos and instability continues to spread. Monday night, we find how it’ll all come crashing down.

We know from the promo the border gets locked down to Canada, which means escape might not be an option for the oppressed Jewish characters.

The Plot Against America” certainly can get a bit preachy at times, and there’s no doubt it tries to take shots at President Donald Trump and his supporters.

You just kind of have to stomach those moments and cringe through them because the show has picked up steam down the stretch.

I’m also pretty sure “The Plot Against America” was originally supposed to be a limited series, but it seems like HBO wants the option of more episodes.

We’ll see what kind of ending we get left with Monday night! Let us know in the comments about what you think about the series.
