According to Tom Pelissero, the former Michigan star will sign with the Chiefs after going undrafted and playing for Jim Harbaugh. (REVIEW: ‘Westworld’ Sets The Stage For An Epic Finale In The Latest Episode ‘Passed Pawn’)
Financial details aren’t known at this time, but it’s unlikely Patterson is getting much guaranteed money.

I wondered when Patterson’s phone would ring and when he’d finally get a shot. Now, he’s signing with the Chiefs.
At the end of the day, all you can ask for is a shot, and that’s what Patterson now has. He’s getting an opportunity.

It’s still going to be an uphill battle for him. There’s no doubt about that. Obviously, he has zero shot of starting, and might be a long shot to even make the 53-man roster.
The Chiefs also recently signed Jordan Ta’amu out of the XFL. There isn’t exactly a ton of space in the quarterback room right now.

Yet, we all know Patterson has the natural talent to play in the NFL, but he has to really clean his game up. We’ll see what he does, but he’s getting a chance to make it in the NFL. Will he stick around? Only time will tell.
