President Ronald Reagan’s son says that even as the country is suffering under coronavirus, it is more important than ever to make the effort to commemorate fallen U.S. military members this Memorial Day.

Michael Reagan sat down with Daily Caller White House Correspondent Anders Hagstrom to discuss the state of the nation as well as a memorial initiative led by his Reagan Legacy Foundation.

The initiative, Walkway to Victory, is based at the U.S. Airborne Museum in Normandy, France. The Reagan Legacy Foundation seeks to engrave bricks for a memorial walkway in the museum with the names of U.S. veterans both living and passed who fought to free Europe from the Nazi regime.

America’s remaining World War II veterans dwindle more and more each year, and it is more important than ever to ensure that Americans and the world never forget their heroism and sacrifice, Reagan says. (RELATED: Honor Memorial Day With These Iconic Moments From ‘Band Of Brothers)
