Angelina Jolie reportedly doesn’t want her divorce from Brad Pitt “to end” because she’s allegedly “trying to hold on.”
“The longer she does this, the more damage she does to the kids,” a source with knowledge about the 45-year-old actress and Pitt‘s relationship shared with the New York Post. The comments were noted by Cosmopolitan magazine in a piece published Monday. (RELATED: Report: Angelina Jolie Given Ultimatum Regarding Custody Of Her And Brad Pitt’s Kids)
“This is a game she’s playing,” the source added. “She still has the kids for more of the time than he does and she’s trying to maintain that as long as possible.”

Jolie’s team responded to the claims and pointed out that the 45-year-old actress is “the one who filed for divorce. There is no one more than her that wants it to be done.”
Sources shared by dragging the proceedings out it has helped Pitt “keep the focus off some skeletons in his own closet,” per the outlet.
It all comes after the “Maleficent” star reportedly said she wants the private judge overseeing their divorce removed over his reported business relationship with Pitt’s attorney, Anne C. Kiley.
“The judge excoriated her legal team’s hail-Mary attempt to delay the process again,” an attorney close to the matter shared with the outlet.
Pitt’s attorneys reportedly said in court documents that the actress’ actions “reeks of bad faith and desperation.” They added that the couple’s six kids are “the individuals hurt most by Jolie’s transparently tactical gambit,” as “they continue to be deprived over a resolution to these custody issues.”
This comes following the celebrity couple’s shocking split and lengthy custody battle started in 2016. Pitt and Jolie are the parents of six kids, sons Maddox, 18, Pax, 16 and Knox, 12, and daughters Zahara, 15, Shiloh, 14, and Vivienne, 12.
Brad and Angelina made headlines when they tied the knot in 2014. They split up two years later and their status as single finally became official last year, with the details of the divorce still being hammered out.
