Notre Dame’s football team has a pair of new coronavirus cases after the latest round of testing.

According to Bruce Feldman, the Fighting Irish have two players positive with the virus after 419 tests were conducted. Two more players are being held out because of contact tracing. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

None of the four individuals played this past weekend against Duke.

This is pretty good news for the Fighting Irish, After more than four hundred tests, there’s only two new cases and two players had to be held out because of contact tracing.

All things considered, it’s not that bad at all. It’s a very manageable position for Notre Dame to be in.

It’d be one thing if they had 25 players out. That’d be a major problem, but a grand total of four players is nothing.

At this rate, Notre Dame won’t have any problem finishing the season.

Let’s hope the Fighting Irish keep up the great work. We need every team possible to make it to the end of the college football season.
