Kansas football coach Les Miles has tested positive for coronavirus.
The Miles announced Thursday afternoon that he tested positive for coronavirus, and athletic director Jeff Long is hopeful that the legendary football coach will be back by October 17 for the West Virginia game. This is not what college football fans want to be hearing right now. It’s not what we want to hear at all.
The last thing we need is another major figure in the world of sports testing positive for coronavirus.

Luckily, it sounds like Miles, who is 66-years-old, is doing just fine, and Long said he’ll be welcomed back by October 17 “as long as Coach Miles does not develop symptoms or have a fever.”
Hopefully, Miles continues to move forward just fine, and fans have him back on the sidelines in a little more than a week.
