Actress Bella Thorne bragged about being the first celebrity on OnlyFans on Sunday via her Instagram account.
Except Thorne wasn’t the first celebrity to join OnlyFans. Superstar rapper Cardi B joined OnlyFans at the beginning of August to share behind-the-scenes content for her fans and model Blac Chyna started one back in April. Thorne jumped on the bandwagon at the end of August.

“Everyone jumping on OnlyFans but I took the hit for doing it firsttttt coooool,” Thorne wrote on her stories, according to Page Six.
“Legit everyone in my newsfeed following in my footsteps,” she added. “But when I was getting heat y’all were scared. This keeps happening to me hahahah.”
Thorne isn’t wrong about taking the “heat” for joining OnlyFans. Her appearance on the content sharing subscription service received backlash after she broke a record by earning $1 million in a single day. Thorne apologized for joining the site after she was criticized for selling a “nude” picture for $200 — that was not, in fact, nude, according to Page Six. Afterwards, OnlyFans capped tipping at $100 and now only allows users to charge their fans $50 to view a post.
“I wanted to bring attention to the site, the more people on the site the more likely of a behind sex work, porn, and the natural hatred people spew…behind anything sex related,” she said on Twitter at the time. “I wrote and directed a porn against the high brows of my peers and managers because I WANTED to help with the stigma behind sex.”
I feel like as hard as Thorne tries to do the right thing, she always ends up sticking her foot in her mouth. She really should listen to what other people are saying. You can’t go around saying that you’re the first celebrity to join OnlyFans when in reality you were just the first celebrity to anger the people who make money off OnlyFans.
