2020 saw wildfires, a pandemic, mass lockdowns and nationwide riots. The year also saw some of the worst entertainment.
Here’s a recap of the worst films that made their debut in this unconventional year in no particular order.
Netflix released the award-winning French film “Cuties” in September, spurring outrage nationwide, including from politicians, who said the film glorified pedophilia.
The film centers around an 11 year-old female dancer who joins a dance troupe. However, many have criticized Netflix’s decision to stream the film, which some say glorifies and promotes pedophilia and sexualizing children.
Netflix released that “Cuties” movie about twerking 11 year olds. Fuller clips of the film are now circulating. It’s way worse than I thought, and I thought it would be extremely bad. VERY explicit sexual dancing, girls grabbing themselves, crotch shots, etc. These are children.

The film hit number four in the U.S. on Netflix days after its release while film critics and Netflix defended the film as a “social commentary against the sexualization of young children.” (RELATED: 20 Movies That Are Finally Coming Out In 2021 That Were Delayed In 2020 Due To Pandemic)

Other movies that made the list were ‘After We Collided’, ‘Wonder Woman 1984‘ and ‘The Witches’ with Anne Hathaway. Hathaway issued an apology following the release of the film because Lucky Fin Project, a nonprofit, said the film’s portrayal of limb differences was offensive according to Complex.
