“Saved by the Bell” star Dustin Diamond has reportedly died.

According to TMZ, a rep for the former TV star told the outlet that Diamond has passed away from lung cancer at the age of 44. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Diamond was diagnosed with stage four small cell carcinoma a few weeks ago and recently completed an initial round of chemo, according to the same report.

This one cuts deep. Men aren’t supposed to be dying at the age of 44. That’s just not supposed to be happening.

They should be enjoying life and preparing for retirement. Instead, Diamond has passed onto the other side at the young age of 44.

The most tragic part is how fast this all came together. Diamond, who famously played Screech, was diagnosed with cancer in January, and he’s reportedly dead at the start of February.

It’s truly a tragic situation, and there’s no other way to put it.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his entire family and all of his friends. It’s just brutal, and the latest reminder that we need to end cancer.
